Since 2018, Trapital founder Dan Runcie has been the sole writer for the company. We’re now ready to expand and bring more talented voices on to help us continue to achieve our mission.

Trapital is expanding into curation and coverage of the most important news.

The business of hip-hop, music, and entertainment continue to evolve each day. Our job is to keep our readers ahead of the curve with the latest insights, and we can’t do that with just a weekly newsletter. We want to keep our active readers up to date with the latest insights and key takeaways. Our new writer share the latest news and insights in a new weekly newsletter sent to the Trapital email subscribers.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Ideate, strategize and execute a 1x weekly newsletter
• Distill, summarize, and formulate the latest news stories from the business of music, hip-hop, and entertainment
• Provide original research and insights
• Weekly brainstorm with Dan where you’ll be required to bring original story ideas

Experience:

• Experience writing narrative content
• Understanding of music industry, artists, and hip-hop culture
• Editorial leadership and willingness to own projects
• Understanding of music investing landscape is a bonus
