Since 2018, Trapital founder Dan Runcie has been the primary social media content creator for the company. We want to bring on others to help us continue sharing insights on socials, specifically on LinkedIn.
Trapital wants to be the go-to source to stay up-to-date on the latest news.
LinkedIn has been a huge growth engine for Trapital. I want to double down on that, specifically with the Trapital company account. Our job is to keep our readers ahead of the curve with the latest insights, and we can’t do that with just a 2x weekly newsletter. We want to keep our followers up to date with the latest quick insights on socials. This will help us grow our channels, and identify the most-engaging stories that can help us grow our newsletter and podcast too.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
Track news stories in the business of music, hip-hop, and entertainment
Create LinkedIn posts that summarize the most important big news stories (ideally 2 – 4x per day, Monday thru Friday)
Search social media for photos relevant to the post to include
Create graphics, images, or video when helpful to share along with LinkedIn posts
Experience creating social media content or brands
Light graphic design experience with Canva and similar tools
Understanding of music industry, media, and hip-hop culture
Understanding of music investing landscape is a bonus
Paid position, 1099 contractor
